Over the Years
2004
Founded
- When Hot Igloo founder, Terry Miaoulis, was diagnosed with kidney failure on Boxing Day 2003, he started designing websites to pass the long hours spent on dialysis. As the positive word-of-mouth brought more clients his way, he and journalist fiancée Amber decided to form Hot Igloo Ltd

Practice What
You Teach
- After two years of creating and growing successful sites for clients we decided to practice what we preach and started building several million + visitor sites

We got Married

Continued Growth
- Our sites continue to grow to the point that Amber can leave freelance journalism and focus on our own sites full time
2009
Best Blogger Award
- Amber won the Best Fashion Blogger award for The Fashion Police in the 2009 Appletiser Blog Awards
2010
Best Fashion Blog
- The Fashion Police was named Best Fashion Blog of 2010 in the Glam Network Blog Awards
2013
A New Chapter
- In 2013, Hot Igloo moved premises to our new central Scotland location, with easy to access to both Edinburgh and Glasgow
2014
Ten Years of Hot Igloo
- We kicked off 2014 with the news that The Fashion Police has been recognised as one of the Top 20 Fashion Blogs in the UK by Cision.
2015
Tens of Millions
of Visitors
- The blogs become an even greater part of Hot Igloo with Foreveramber.co.uk becoming one of the largest lifestyle blogs in the UK
2016
First Book
- Amber releases her first book,My Blogging Secrets , with the aim of helping other aspiring bloggers turn their passion into a full time profession
2017
More Growth
- Foreveramber.co.uk goes from strength to strength and is now consistently rated as one of the best lifestyle blogs in the UK.Amber gives birth to our Baby boy Max

COVID
- We weather the storm while helping keep many businesses afloat during the pandemic

- We release the first 2 books in a 6 part series of novels
